Exchanging on ground rent disposals during planning or construction24th January 2020
We’ve recently contracted on a prestigious development in the North West, two high spec towers complete with roof garden, concierge and retail on the ground floor.
Whilst completion likely isn’t going to occur before Quarter three in 2021, we were happy to exchange on it now.
An early exchange on a ground rent disposal provides multiple benefits to a developer:
- Surety of sale/ exit, which can assist with funding
- Expedited completion – following PC and the sale of the last unit, notice is served and we complete thereafter.
